Ms. Myky
Ms. Myky is a Bay Area native and a proud teacher, choreographer, and performer with a lifelong passion for movement and the performing arts. Her dance journey began at just 2 years old in Fundamental classes, where she quickly developed a love for performing and expressing herself through dance. As she grew, she expanded her training across a variety of styles, including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, building a strong technical foundation and versatile skill set.
Myky competed in dance through the age of 15 at the Atlas School of Dance, where she gained valuable performance experience and developed the discipline and work ethic that continue to shape her teaching today. In addition to dance, she pursued extensive training in tumbling and acrobatics, which ultimately led her into the world of competitive cheerleading. In 2014, she joined NorCal Elite All Stars and spent eight successful years competing at the highest levels of the sport before retiring in 2022. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork required to succeed in competitive athletics.
For more than 10 years, Ms. Myky has been coaching young athletes and performers, helping them build not only technical skills but also confidence, resilience, and a love for learning. She believes every student is capable of growth when given the right tools, encouragement, and support. Her teaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive and challenging environment where students feel empowered to take risks, celebrate progress, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Her greatest hope is that her students look back on their time with her and can confidently say that she played a positive role in both their growth as performers and their development as individuals.
Ms. Myky is a also proud member of our Production Company staff and serves as our Director of Acrobatic Arts.
