Season 26-27 Class Schedule by Day/Time

Early Dance Education (Ages 3 - 7)

We are proud to offer 45 minute dance classes for ages 3–7 that introduce young dancers to a variety of styles. Our Creative Movement classes for age 3 focus on inspiring movement through imagination in a positive and encouraging environment. Fun, age-appropriate music and playful prop activities help dancers build confidence, coordination, and a love for dance.

Our Intro, Combination, and Pre-level classes introduce dancers to a more structured learning experience. These classes emphasize skill development, dance terminology, and body awareness, helping dancers build a strong technical foundation while expressing themselves creatively.

Restroom Assistance for Children 5 and Under

For the safety and comfort of our dancers, please note the following regarding restroom breaks: Teachers, office staff, and TA’s can escort children to the restroom door and give verbal reminders (like washing hands). Teachers, office staff, and TA’s may help with simple clothing fasteners (button, snap, zipper, tights and leotards) if absolutely necessary. Staff cannot assist with toileting, wiping, or go inside a closed stall with a child. ( will prop door open to help with clothing )

If your child is not fully independent with restroom needs, we kindly ask that a parent/guardian remain nearby to assist if needed.

Thank you for helping us keep all dancers safe, supported, and comfortable!

Technique Classes (Ages 7 - 17)

Students age 7-17 who are new to dance should register for a Level 1 technique class in the desired dance style. Current DAU students should only register for the level they have been assigned by DAU staff for the 26-27 season. If you are new to our studio and your dancer has multiple years of prior dance experience, please contact our office for assistance with proper level placement. Students typically spend 2-3 years in each leveled class before advancing levels. Dancers who enroll in a level higher than their assigned level may be moved to their appropriate assigned level after enrollment.

Please trust that our teachers and directors carefully place each student in the level best suited to their current abilities to ensure long-term growth and success in their dance journey. Many dancers remain at a particular level for several years, allowing them to strengthen their foundation, build confidence, and develop safely and progressively. Directors and teachers thoughtfully evaluate each student’s progress when determining level placements.
