Ms. Kayla

Kayla has been dancing since the age of 4, and has had experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Latin and Acro. She grew up at South Bay Dance Center, participating in each yearly showcase and winter Nutcracker or storybook ballet performance (Coppelia, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty & Swan Lake). Advancing to be a part of South Bay Ballet Arts and South Bay Dance Center’s Competition team, where she participated and earned various awards and scholarships.

In 2022, Kayla was accepted and went to Ballet Austin’s Summer Intensive, where she furthered her ballet training. After that, in high school she participated in Pioneer High School’s Dance Team, which performed in Disneyland in 2023. Now, Kayla is currently studying a Dance BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at San Jose State University and is hoping to narrow her studies in on Ballet in the upcoming years.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys playing games with her friends online, and singing, dancing & listening to K-Pop music. A fun fact - Kayla’s favorite styles of dance are Ballet & Tap! She also has 2 German Shepherd’s at home!
