Ms. Diane
Diane brings a wealth of dance and fitness experience into each class. Students will enjoy her bubbly personality and fun, inspiring yet challenging teaching style.
Diane studied ballet and contemporary dance at the esteemed California Institute of the Arts and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BA in World Dance with a minor in Performing Arts Education.
While dancing and teaching professionally in Los Angeles, Diane became immersed in the fitness world. She has been barre-certified since 2012, and received her first 200 hour certification in Power Yoga afterward. Since then, Diane has trained extensively in power yoga, yoga sculpt, restorative and hot power fusion yoga styles, and has led numerous 200 hour teacher trainings throughout the Bay Area.
Diane is proud to return back to her home studio at Dance Academy USA where she was a former DAUPC member and Lynbrook High School Dance Team (go Valks!). She has also danced with Foothill Repertory Dance Company, De Anza Dance Department, sjDANCEco and Ballet San Jose.
Diane strongly believes that proper alignment, and consistency and breath are the keys to moving with joy and finding balance both on and off the mat. Her greatest joy is in helping others gain mental and physical strength and discover love for movement.
When she’s not in studio, Diane works to protect families as an insurance agent with New York Life, and enjoys spending time with her husband Austin and their two toddlers.
