Pilates/Barre for Dancers

Pilates is a body toning and sculpting methodology, developed and established by ‘Joseph Pilates’. Our certified teachers will focus on the Pilates Principles and the classic mat sequences that optimize body flexibility and strength. This class will help develop a strong inner core while helping sculpt long, lean muscles needed for dancing. Some aspects of barre method will be incorporated in order to target specific muscle groups with an emphasis on alignment. Dance conditioning is utilized to provide a regimen of exercises for the development of a dancers physical endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
