Ballet Bun

Ballet Burn – Thursdays at 8:30pm

Join us in our Ballet Burn class where we will focus on core/quad/hamstring and turnout seat muscles. We will borrow from Barre workouts and add in yoga for flexibility/cool down, feet/calf exercises, and some arm work like pushups because we don’t get enough of that as dancers.


 Here’s a note from mom Julie McMullen:


Just wanted to let you all know that I am really enjoying the ballet burn adult class on Thursdays at 8:30pm.  Miss Niki is a friendly, encouraging teacher who leads us in great strength training and stretching moves.  I am a beginner when it comes to these moves, but I’m already seeing improvement in my strength and flexibility!  It’s a great addition to my cardio routine.


I encourage any other mom out there who has a child in a dance class at DAU on Thursdays at 8:30pm to come join us.  It’s a great way to meet other moms and get in shape and it sure beats sitting in your car for an hour waiting for your child to finish dance class.
